Suzuki Introduces Four Motorcycles

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently unveiled 4 new models ravishingly on stage of 2014 Indian Auto Expo, however, the prime objective is to boost up its share in the two-wheeler market to 5 per cent this year respectively.

“We presently have 12 per cent market share in motorcycles, and 1 per cent in scooters. Cumulatively, our share stands at about 2.5 per cent,” Atul Gupta, Executive Vice-President, Suzuki Motorcycle India, told The Hindu on the sidelines of the conference.

Meanwhile, the company also showcased four new vehicles includes three motorcycles, namely as, V Strom 1000, Inazuma and Gixxer, and a scooter, Let’s on parity.
On the hand, V Strom 1000 is priced of about Rs.15 lakh whereas Inazuma is priced at Rs.3 lakh alongside Gixxer will hit the streets in July. Let’s will be available from April correspondingly.

Mr. Gupta said “We have just started exports from India to the Middle East, South American countries and some neighbouring countries but the quantity is very small. We want to ramp up exports to about 5 per cent of total production, which stands at 5, 45, 000,” he said.
